Add Individual Trees
To increase the realism, individual trees are added to the scene's lawns. Although the orthophoto helped guide this placement, trees are added for effect and are not based on actual species or location.
For this scene, Foliage Effects depict oaks, maples, birches, spruce and fruit trees (both small and large). These effects are linked to a point file of tree locations. Foliage Effects are similar to Ecosystem Effects. The trees are actually 2D images that rotate depending on the camera angle. They are not 3D objects.Animation Creation Overview
